A translation service in 36 languages and 80 dialects is provided at 35 different points of the terminal at Istanbul Airport for the foreign passengers to have flawless communication experience. The instant translation service between consultants and passengers is carried out at each check-in desk using the removable smart tablets provided with a special software. A passenger choosing one of 36 languages and 80 dialects on the tablet screen may talk to the consultant through a microphone. The translation, voiced through the speaker, is also shown on the tablet screen.
Here are some of these languages: English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Swedish, Italian, German, Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Danish, Norwegian, Czech, Finnish, Slovak, Croatian, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Dutch, Catalan, and Bulgarian.
