On June 6th, Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) hosted a final conference dedicated to students’ pedagogical and industrial experiences. The event was attended by the leadership of Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), the faculty and teaching staff, representatives of state and executive bodies, heads of educational institutions and teaching-translation centers, including representatives of the Avrasiya Translation Center.
At the beginning of the conference, a moment of silence was observed to honor the memory of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and independence, followed by the National Anthem. Then, Rector of AUL, Academic Kamal Abdulla, opened the conference, congratulating the students and emphasizing the invaluable role of pedagogical internships in their future careers.
Avrasiya Translation Center’s Contribution to Student Development
In her speech, Narmin Huseynova, Director of the Avrasiya Translation Center, highlighted the importance of internship programs in students’ professional development. She expressed satisfaction with the collaboration with AUL students and thanked them for their professionalism and dedication:
“Azerbaijan University of Languages always ensures that students are trained to the highest standards and we are very pleased to collaborate with students from this university. I thank the students for their perseverance and professionalism during their internships, as well as their teachers and the university administration. As the Avrasiya Translation Center, we highly value the practical skills students gain in the field of translation and are ready to offer them employment opportunities and support their development.”
Narmin Huseynova added that the Avrasiya Translation Center provides an excellent platform for students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice and these experiences will play a crucial role in their future careers.
Student Presentations and Achievements
During the event, students also spoke about the knowledge and skills they acquired during their internships and expressed their gratitude to the teachers and leaders who supported them. They highlighted how the experiences gained during the internship would have a significant impact on their future careers.
At the end of the event, diplomas and certificates were awarded to the intern students. Rector Kamal Abdulla congratulated the students once again and wished them success in their future endeavors.
