Since there are very few specialists speaking Armenian in our country, we struggle with exposing the misinformation spread about us. For several years now, the Armenian language has been taught to the students majoring in Caucasian Studies at the Historical Faculty of the Baku State University. At the same time, Ismayil Tanryverdi, the Director of the Center for Armenian Studies and Education of BSU, is acting as an interpreter at the trial of Vagif Khachatryan, one of the murderers involved in the Khojaly massacre. The Azerbaijan University of Languages has become aware of the importance of the matter as well. Thus, this year the University started teaching the Armenian language at the Translation Faculty. Learning the language of our enemies is a bold move, which will challenge them. There is a saying: "If you want to defeat your enemies, first learn their language and culture."
