Avrasiya Translation Centre recently held a practical training session for students at the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL). The event was designed to introduce participants to the latest developments and challenges in the translation industry, outline the skills currently in demand, and highlight the key competencies required for professional growth.
During the session, the Centre’s experienced specialists shared real-world translation insights, covering both written and oral translation techniques, working with specialized texts, and the importance of accurate terminology. They also emphasized professional ethics, effective time management, and the role of continuous learning in a competitive environment.
The interactive format allowed students to engage directly with the material through discussions of real-life examples, practical exercises, and Q&A sessions. Participants also gained hands-on knowledge of modern technological tools used in translation practice.
The session concluded with a discussion of potential future collaborations between Avrasiya Translation Centre and the University. Students were additionally invited to an Open Day at the Centre, providing a unique opportunity to explore its operations and professional environment firsthand.
